World's Columbian Exposition Card Explaining About the "Corps of Guides"

The uniformed guides--dressed in grey uniforms with blue hats--charged 50 cents per hour for groups of up to five people. Fairgoers could easily locate guides, rolling chair attendents, and of course, members of the Columbian Guard. A member of any of the three groups were happy to answer questions about the exposition and to point out the nearest stands for more information or for hiring a walking guide or wheel chair attendent.

This card is about 2/3 the size of a postcard, printed with a blank back. I have encountered no more than 4 or 5 of these in my 40+ years of studying the WCE.

NOTES:
1) This has a very interesting ink notation on the back, a couple words & "Wesleyan College"--let's see 2025-1893=132 years ago; my daughter wenbt to Wesleyan in Connecticut....but a couple years after the WCE.
2) While it's just a small piece of heavy paper, I will not send it with no protection in a regular envelope (also with no tracking); so the buyer will pay $5.00 for shipping despite it's
