Outstanding Ancient Roman Coin Slabbed Mint State by NGC

Since NGC began slabbing ancient coins it has been quite a boon for collectors and sellers alike. To be able to say a third party expert has graded the coin as uncirculated and in mint state has alleviated that conundrum and typical point of disagreement over grade. It is tougher to grade ancients than typical U.S. coins, for example; many ancients look like this but don't receive an MS grade and for the uneducated eye it can be almost impossible to say a coin is in its original condition due to the crude methods of coining 2,000 years ago.

This coin is priced very modestly for such a high grade Roman.
