Marked Down at Cost Until Dec 15: 2+ Inch Roman Iridescent Glass Bottle, Unusual Design

This Roman glass vessel is indicative of how even the smallest of glass bottles or vials were treated as something special when made. Rather than a simple bottle, this one was created with a ring around the middle and it's very thick. that might have indicated that it was intended for plenty of use and needed to be glass that wouldn't break easily. The glass may have had this vibrant color when made or perhaps it is all the result of being buried for 1,500+ years. It's small, thick but attractive and almost as thick as a clay bottle would've been.
