Unusual & On Sale! Roman Glass Somewhat Pyramid Shape/Mosaic Design

This very short Roman bottle has sloping sides that form a very stubby triangle, culminating in a very narrow mouth of the bottle. The bottle walls are very thick and if you look closely at the outside around it you can see that the glass looks like it may have been given a layer of patchwork or mosaic different colors of glass.

It is also possible that it simply looks that way because the centuries buried just cause it to become encrusted with color changes in a blotchy sort of appearance. The second or closeup photo shows this pattern and it's quite possible that if all of the outer crust were removed the bottle underneath might be the smooth green ou can see in the center of this view.
