ONE X Cash Coin salvaged from the ADMIRAL GARDNER --PRICE REDUCED!
We have a variety of coins found at the shipwreck of the Admiral Gardner which sunk in 1809; the coins were acquired in two groups--encased in plastic slabs with an information sheet certified as coming from the shipwreck by the company that discovered and brought them off the ocean floor and these that are loose. They are all dated 1808, the date when they were minted and the year before the ship sunk.
The coins were all bulk loaded into barrels for shipping. And while the appearance varies in color, some have mild encrustation and so on--but they are all UNCIRCULATED! They were newly minted when they were loaded onto the doomed ship--tense of thousands of bright copper uncirculated coins.
This item is a SINGLE X Cash coin recovered from the wreck of the ADMIRAL GARDNER.
You will note that we have several loose coins available for sale. PLEASE LOOK AT THE ENCASED COINS AS WELL; the price has been reduced for those as well.
