#111-CIVIL WAR SALE: SERVICE RECORD OF EDWARD SIMONS, TWICE SHOT DURING THE WAR
$120.00
This is one of two detailed soldier military records in this sale. Simons, as noted in the document, was first shot in the thigh; the bullet lodged at the bone. His second injury was another bullet wound, this time in the ribs. He survived both battle injuries and spent a substantial part of his three-year service in hospitals and on furlough at home to recover. He completed his service in 1864.
