Choice borderline Unc Civil War patriotic token. Light hints of green over brown.

As I looked at hundreds of tokens over the last 4-5 months I was surprised that finding a bit of minor doubling on the token was typical as opposed to something unusual. We're all trained to expect the tiniest errors to be found on U.S. Mint-produced coins even in the 20th and 21st century.

You just cannot apply the same standards to these privately issued CWT's to those coins produced by the U.S. Mint even in the 19th century. You can find a bit of doubling on the top of the "V" in the word "EVER."

But this is also a nice high grade CWT offered at well below typical retail price.
